France, Burgundy Red. Vintage: 2015. Domaine Joseph Roty and Domaine Philippe Roty are leading Burgundy domaines owned by the same family and under the same day-to-day management. The Rotys have been producing wine in Gevrey-Chambertin since 1710, and the range of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from their 30 acres of vines are considered some of the best made on the Côte d'Or.
This wine offers wonderful fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, plum, and black cherry. A well balanced palate with balanced acidity. Fabulous with beef and game and an epic Christmas wine!
This wine and vintage is rare and difficult to get hold of in the UK, (we only have 12 bottles) and it is very highly rated by wine connoisseurs.
