France, Languedoc-Roussillon. Vintage: 2018. Created in 2003, Les Clos Perdus is a small estate based in Peyriac-de-Mer, a picturesque village in the Corbières in the south of France.
The name, Les Clos Perdus , was inspired by the discovery of isolated plots in the Languedoc and Roussillon massifs where magnificent and varied old vines grew.
This blend of Carignan 50%, Grenache 35%, Mourvèdre 15% Cuvee 121 has a generous palate of dark berry fruit with sweet balsamic aromatics, typically fresh, but still with rich ripe taninns.
