England, Chardonnay, 2018. Charles Palmer chose to style their Chardonnay to enhance the cool climate characteristics that this noble grape is well suited to convey. This is an unashamedly honest Chardonnay that does not have flavours of oak, nor the strong buttery notes that are often found in Chardonnay wines. It follows the style of Chablis rather than white Burgundy.
