France, Burgundy Red. Vintage: 2017. Another classic from producers Michael and Fiona Wragg. A classic pinot noir that offers hints of rose hip and delicate cherry.
The pure, sweet, ripeness of the fruit as it strikes the palate is remarkable, a moreish wine with juicy cherry fruit, fine chalky tannins, and a savoury finish that pairs wonderfully with food or simply on it's own. A very good and quite complex Bourgogne of high quality.
