It is brilliant ruby red with a sparkling core. On the nose – a beautiful scent of ripe raspberries and strawberries, with delicate wood, and vanilla. The palate’s creamy glaze shows hearty red berries, compact and harmonious, with well-integrated acidity and delicate, smooth tannins on the finish.
Robert Parker gave this 92pts and said 'The focus here is on freshness and lightness, and the wine is redolent of varietal aromas that range from wild rose to tart cherry. There are hints of oak, with some sweet spice and smoke. Overall, I’m loving this new look for Máté'
